Dalhousie University School of Nursing An increasing number of health professional scholars are looking for alternate ways of doing research. In this article, the authors discuss experential analysis as a feminist methodology that could provide new answers to old questions. Rooted in the arena of the sociology of knowledge, experential analysis provides one the opportunity to think about how knowledge is created, the power relations inherent in knowledge, and how to deconstruct this knowledge.
